  1. Type the number into the search box on the home page. +977-9841234567, 9841-234567 and 9841234567 are treated as the same number.
  2. Read the result: how many incidents and independent reporters, which categories, the dates, whether evidence was reviewed and whether the reports are disputed.
  3. Look at associated identifiers. The same number may appear together with a bank account, a wallet, a WhatsApp number or a website in other reports.
  4. Verify independently: call back on a number you found yourself, ask for a live video call, check the business's registration, and prefer cash on delivery or paying in person.

What the result does and does not mean

A report is an allegation that moderators have reviewed. It is not a court finding. A number with several independent, evidence-reviewed reports deserves real caution, but you should not harass anyone.

A number with no reports is not proof of safety: new numbers have no history, and scammers change numbers often. Always verify the seller before any advance payment.
