I Already Paid - What Do I Do Now?

  1. Preserve all chats and conversations with the seller/scammer. Do not delete anything.
  2. Preserve screenshots of the advertisement, profile, and conversation.
  3. Preserve transaction receipts, SMS confirmations, and bank/wallet statements.
  4. Preserve the URL(s) of the website, listing, or social media post involved.
  5. Do not delete messages, even if the sender asks you to.
  6. Contact your bank or payment provider (eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, etc.) promptly - some transactions can still be reversed or flagged if reported quickly.
  7. Report the incident to Nepal Police Cyber Bureau.
  8. Submit an incident report on this platform so others can be warned.
