About ScamCheck Nepal

Mission

To help people in Nepal check whether an identifier - a phone number, bank account, wallet, QR code, website, or business - has previously appeared in reported fraud incidents, before they send money.

Independent Nature

ScamCheck Nepal is an independent, public-interest community platform. It is not a government agency, not the police, and not a court. It does not claim any official partnership unless one actually exists.

How Reports Are Reviewed

Every report goes through automated screening followed by human moderation before it can affect a public result. See How We Review Reports for the full workflow.

How Privacy Is Protected

Public pages only ever show masked identifiers. Victim identity, addresses, citizenship/NID numbers, and private evidence are never published. See our Privacy Policy.
